I sing

"A purple robe, a crown of thorns,
a reed in His right hand;
before the soldiers' spite and scorn
I see my Saviour stand.
He bears between the roman guards
the weight of all our woe;
A stumbling figure bowed and scarred
I see my Saviour go.
Fast to the cross' spreading span,
High in the sunlit air.
All the unnumbered sins of man
I see my Saviour bear.

He hangs, by whom the world was made,
Beneath the darkened sky;
The everlasting ransom paid,
I see my Saviour die.
He shares on high His Father's throne,
Who once in mercy came;
For all His love to sinners shown,
I sing my saviour's name.

God's timing = Best timing

back! but not much time to look through the photos taken. nonetheless, I still thank God for a blessed trip, and all His blessings every day!

" Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, nether do they reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add on cubit unto his stature?
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, nether do they spin:
And yet I say into you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
therefore take no thought saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or,wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(for after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added into you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
Matthew 6: 25-34

what a gathering

today, decorating the church for a sister's wedding was filled with mixed emotions, as it meant she'll be leaving us soon..i guess we all feel it..but we are all also assured by the bond that we have through Christ..and not forgetting the eternal fellowship that we'll get to have when we're together in heaven..so there's much to be happy about!
may you have a blessed Marriage in the Lord,dear friend..=))we'll miss you!!

"in that land of glory where the saints are
gathered round His throne,
no more sighs nor tears nor sorrows nor despairs,
but and everlasting song of victory flows from every tongue
in the New Jerusalem.

Hallelujahs fills the heavens
for the saints have all come home
to Jerusalem! to Jerusalem!
Joyfully they shout Hosannas,
come and crown Him King of Kings,
in the new Jerusalem."
