are YOU ready???

By God's grace, He gave the committee the wisdom to decide on a very apt topic for our gospel rally this coming saturday:

"Are YOU ready for the END of the world?"

The end of the world is as true and as real as i am typing this post and whoever is reading this right now, it will happen, and its just a matter of time. No one knows when, and the question is are you ready?

why do you have to be ready?
wouldn't it just be another "event" down in the history of time.
this is what the Bible says:

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
Hebrews 9:27

but what's the big deal about judgement?

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
Revelation 20:15

The book of life, is where God has recorded down who has believed on Him and acknowledged and accepted Him as their personal Saviour and Lord.
There is no maybe, there is no perhaps, but a sure statement, that those who are not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire, where they will suffer torment for eternity.

So why do we have to be ready?
because there is no second chance once our lives are snuffed out..
the only time we have to believe is while God by His grace gives us breath and we awake to see another day through.

so...
Are you ready?

There IS a God who WILL come and judge the world.
This world WILL pass away.
Have we been so obsessed by the material things and cares of the world that we think all these dust is all that matters?

Do not wait until it is too late.
There IS a way of salvation!
